Mystery House

Mystery House is a text adventure game released in 1980 made by Roberta and Ken Williams for the Apple II. The game is famous for being one of the first adventure games to feature graphics. The game is based on the Agatha Christie novel "Then There Were None".

The player starts off in an abandoned Victorian house and has to explore, there are seven other people in the house with different professions and many rooms. The first objective seems to be to search for a hidden cache of jewels but soon other people in the house start disappearing and the player must uncover clues to discover who did it.

Japanese company Starcraft remade Mystery House in 1983 which had slightly enhanced graphics. http://blog.hardcoregaming101.net/2010/05/mystery-of-japanese-mystery-house.html
