This is an example of an enemy. I wanted to have other enemies apart from ghosts and I thought that bats and spiders would be the typical creatures that you would find in an old house.
This is an example of what the 'evil' ghosts might look like. Evil ghosts are victims of the murder who don't want to be put to rest and go on to the next life because they enjoy haunting the house and scaring the people who try to move in there. Because of this they try to stop the player as much as possible.
When an enemy is encountered the player would have to play a mini game to beat the ghost. If the player loses they lose 'health' which takes the form of a scare o'meter. When the player gets too scared they have to hide somewhere safe until daylight again.
These are examples of what the friendly ghosts would look like. They are the opposite to evil ghosts in that they want to go on to the next life so they are willing to help the player solve what happened in the house and allow all the inhabitants to rest in peace.
I wanted the friendly ghosts to have individual differences whereas the evil ghosts have a more uniform appearance.
