EXT.HOUSE
Outside the house is a moving van and car. A removal man is
seen carrying a box into the house.
Close up of the bedroom window. A boy is seen looking out of
the window, his head is in his hands and a fed up expression is on his face.
INT.HOUSE – Bedroom
Boxes piled up everywhere. A boy looks at the boxes. Thought
bubbles appear above his head containing toys and video games.
The boy sighs and leaves the room, climbs down the stairs to
the kitchen.
INT.HOUSE – Kitchen
The boy’s mother is busy unpacking boxes and putting things
away in cupboards. Boy hangs around getting in the way.
Mother – “Why don’t you go play outside?”
EXT. GARDEN
The garden is small and full of foliage from various plants.
A big oak tree takes up most of the space. Next to the oak tree is a large bush, hidden
in which is a tunnel which leads behind the tree to a small clearing.
[Player must find the entrance to the clearing by searching
the garden, certain places in the garden will be interactive]
The boy crawls into the tunnel
EXT.GARDEN – Secret clearing.
The boy crawls out of the tunnel and stands up. On the far side of the clearing is a large
furry lump which appears to be breathing.
The boy gulps and starts to move back towards the tunnel but
steps on a twig, a loud crack echoes throughout the small clearing and the boy
freezes still. The monster begins to stir from it’s sleep.
There is a load noise like a roar. The monster rolls over
and looks sad. He’s hungry! He tries to stand but gets weak and falls back over
again.
The monster points to his stomach [a thought bubble with
food in it appears over the monster’s head]
The house.
INT. KITCHEN
The player
can search several places in the kitchen to find food and combine them.
Different combinations of food will affect the monster differently.
Chilli powder
Jam
Eggs
The two
ingredients are poured into a jar and stirred.
Food for the
monster made the boy goes back to the clearing.
EXT. SECRET
CLEARING.
The boy
places the food in front of the monster. He sniffs it and growls. Then takes
the container and pours the contents into his mouth in one go. His stomach
grumbles loudly and the monster burps. His stomach grumbles again even louder
and the monster starts to transform.
There are
three different types of transformation.
A.
Flying
B.
Fire breathing
C.
Ice
Flying
transformation.
The boy gets
onto the monster’s back and they fly up over the house and around the
neighbourhood and land back down in the garden.
After this there is a page
showing them playing together.

The monster
sneezes and fire streams out of each nostril. The boy runs to the house and
grabs some marshmallows, the monster has followed him into the garden, he
sneezes again and flames land dangerously close to the family cat which runs
away. After this there is a page showing
them playing together.
Ice
Transformation
The monster
looks around and goes into a neighbour’s garden and freezes the pond with fish
in. The family cat tries to get at them and gets confused when he can’t. After this
there is a page showing them playing together.
After the
transformation scenes the boy and the monster have to say goodbye. They hug and
the monster leaves with the boy waving goodbye.
