Plants

http://news.nationalgeographic.co.uk/news/2003/08/photogalleries/weirdplants/index.html

In order to create a dreamlike world for my narrative I want to create some really interesting environments so I have looked up some plants that really exist in order to create plant life that looks convincing by using forms and shapes etc found in real plants.

I found an article on National Geographic about the world's weirdest plants and thought it would be good to look at. Some of them really look like they could be from another world so it's been really interesting and I think will be really useful to my design process.

 Amorphaphalus Titanum

Is the world's biggest and worst smelling plant. It emits a smell similar to rotting flesh in order to entice insects. I really like the scale of this plant and I think it would be great to have something similar in my environments as I want to have a lot of big plants to make the world seem more fantastical, especially when viewed from a child's perspective.

 Dracunculus Vulgaris
