Artistic Influence

All the artists I have looked are all similar to each other in that they all produce artwork that has a creepy/horror type style but because of the simple, cartoon like art it remains cute and appealing instead of horrific and scary. Although they all have this fact in common they achieve this is slightly different ways. This is the kind of idea I would like to go for but do it in my own artistic style.
